Fisher-Price Smart Cycle
Do your kids love to play video games? Are you worried about their lack of exercise or mental stimulation? If so, the Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is the solution for your family. The Smart Cycle is an educational toy that is simply connects to your television to allow your child to exercise and learn at the same time.
Most video games are played by sitting on the floor and holding a controller. It's hard to rationalize that the only exercise being performed is simple button pushing. The Fisher-Price Smart cycle is a stationary bicycle that your child can sit on and pedal to play the game. By pedaling and steering to play the game your child will be able to exercise his legs and arms. Since the Smart Cycle is a learning game, your child won't even realize he's exercising while he's playing!
The Fisher-Price Smart Cycle is a learning toy. Targeted towards 3-6 year olds, the Smart Cycle is able to grab your child's attention while teaching educational skills just as your child is beginning the school system. The Smart Cycle teaches upper and lowercase letter, numbers and counting, spelling, problem-solving, shapes, matching, creativity, and spatial reasoning skills. These skills are vital to the mental development of children in the recommended age range. Younger and older children will also enjoy the Smart Cycle as it can reinforce these skill sets.
The Fisher-Price Smart Cycle easily connects to your TV. As a one-piece unit, the Smart Cycle can be positioned up to several feet from the television. Powered by 4 D batteries all you need to do is turn the cycle on and change channels on your TV to match the video input. The Smart Cycle is light enough to easily be moved to the closet to save space when not in use.
Included with the Smart Cycle is the Learning Adventure game cartridge. Your child will be able to learn to drive. By pedaling and steering the cycle, your child will be able to navigate through Math Mountain, Shape Lake, Number Fields, and Letter Creek. Attached to the front of the cycle is a small joystick that is used to playing the educational games. This allows your child to rest while he learns. Another popular mode of the Learning Adventure game is the race mode. Let your child burn off that excess energy while he pedals as fast as he can while racing other computer racers, against the clock, or even another player!
The Smart Cycle is designed to accept cartridges with different concepts and themes. The cartridges plug directly into the Smart Cycle and expand the learning activities. With cartridges based around Barbie, Go Diego Go, Dora The Explorer, Hot Wheels, Spongebob and more, your are guaranteed to find a title that captures your child's attention. Different cartridges are aimed at different age ranges you can help your child progress through his learning years.

My daughter is 3 years old and plays this everyday. Loves it I can't get her off of it. The only thing I wish there were more games but that doesn't matter to her.
The best ever

My grandson started playing on this yesterday. We had to fight to get him off last night to put him to bed. The best toy ever!
My boys love this! Maybe a little too much!

My sons, 4 and 2, absolutely LOVE this bike! Problem is, they fight over it constantly! I would absolutely love to have a way for two players at the same time, and would be more than happy to buy a second cycle. Also, I was looking forward to buying them a new game for it this Christmas, but was very dissapointed to see that they haven't come out with any new games. My boys would be thrilled with a Batman, Superman, or Spiderman game!
Fantastic

My son is 4 1/2 and has had the SmartCycle for about a year. This is a fantastice idea because while playing games, some consist of actual excercise with peddaling the SmartCycle, but more importantly has done wonders with him learning not only the alphabet but also numbers. Great job with this SmartCyle and I would recommend to anyone with young children.
